I love bringing guests and since I’ve been working with SPCO a bunch I thought it would be nice to bring one of their talented artists to the balcony. Alicia Mcquerrey, flute, will join me for duets.

Solo Salute
June 22 I’m flying solo on the balcony. Planning a little tribute to Juneteenth with a showcase of my fave solo tunes by African American composers William Grant Still and Florence Price. They paved the way for me to exist in this space and I’ll share a little of how hard they worked to be a part of classical music in America.

This broadway show is coming to Minneapolis and yours truly is playing violin in the band. Come support broadway, live music and your neighborhood violinist all at the same time!
July 29 - August 24
Chautauqua, NY will be my new summer home as I have been offered a fellowship with the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra. If you’re traveling that way this summer, gate passes give you access not just to the orchestra concerts, but also lectures, art exhibits, and performing arts of all kinds through the great work and productions of the Chautauqua Institution.

Final Concert of the Summer!!!
Shannon Wettstein and I have been playing concerts from her garden all July and she’ll bring her talents to the balcony stage to share with you.
Excpect some favorites and some new stuff and a solo or two from Shannon as well
My tinybalcony is located on Portland between Kent and Mackubin across the street from St John the Evangelist Episcopal Church. Look up, I’m on the 3rd floor :)
